Shrub Rose Bengal Crimson
A very long-flowering and beautiful shrub rose, Rosa x odorata (Sanguinea Group) Bengal Crimson is a vigorous, deciduous rose with a twiggy, dense, upright habit and lax, almost thornless stems – good news for the pruner! The glossy, deep green leaves are divided into toothed, ovate leaflets. From May until the frosts, delicate, lightly scented, single, cherry-red flowers are borne, fading to light crimson, the rather floppy petals giving a relaxed look to the shrub. A very healthy rose, rose Bengal Crimson holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
