Rose Berkshire
A hardy, repeating, ground-cover rose, Rosa Berkshire is a low, deciduous, shrub rose with a bushy, spreading habit. The neat foliage is deep, glossy green, a lovely foil for the flowers. Fragrant, semi-double, bright pink flowers with golden stamens, are borne from midsummer to autumn. Ideal for planting on a bank, but as these drain fast, mulch with compost, manure or leaf-mould in early spring, and for best flowering, give organic feed at the same time. Dead-head to prolong flowering, and lightly prune in March. Rose Berkshire holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
