Rose Alistair Stella Gray – Climbing Rose
An old, repeat-flowering, climbing noisette rose, Rosa Alister Stella Gray is a medium-sized to large, vigorous, deciduous climbing rose with slender, arching stems and plentiful, glossy, deep-green foliage. From midsummer into autumn, tightly-scrolled, egg yolk-yellow buds on long, thin stems open into well-shaped, silky, fully double, rosette flowers, creamy-yellow with a light, sweet fragrance. Early flowering is in small groups, but it repeats in large sprays. Can also be grown as a large shrub with arching branches. Must have full sun. Climbing rose Alister Stella Gray holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.Â
