Rhododendron Pintail
A new dwarf cultivar, Rhododendron Pintail is a small evergreen shrub with an upright habit. The five-fingered leaves are deep-green and leathery. In April, the shrub is almost covered with clusters of very bright pink flowers. Rhododendron Pintail is compact enough to be grown in ericaceous compost in a big container, but keep away from patio surfaces or warm walls, as dwarf rhododendrons dislike heat. Benefits from a mulch of leaf-mould each spring.
