Cherry Merton Glory
An outstanding early variety of ‘white’ cherry, sweet, Cherry Merton Glory was bred in England in the early 20th century. The fruit is large, heart-shaped, pale yellow flushed red, with sweet, white flesh and a good, sweet flavour. Compact, upright tree, heavy, regular cropper. Will crop best trained against a warm wall, so the fruit can be protected against birds. Can also be grown in a pot. Prune as little as possible, and only in summer. Pollination partners Early Rivers, Noir de Gubin, Morello, Sunburst, Stella.
